Vita Bel Yacht Charter Cala dOr Mallorca
Vita Bel has been out sailing and enjoying the early summer conditions, with temperatures of 22 - 24 C. and fresh breezes, the weather for sailing couldn’t be better.
Although the marina has been quiet with most tourists relaxing on beaches, a few adventurous souls from around the island have taken the opportunity of chartering this classic yacht for a day of invigorating sailing in Beaufort 6 -7 gusts of wind.
Clouds and short rain showers have dampened spirits, but the good news is that from Saturday 16th May the sunshine is back and bringing temperatures to 20 - 22 C. once again.
Last Thursday whilst out with a group from Hanover, Germany we spotted dolphins about 1 Km from the coast off Cala Serena.

Yacht Club Cala dOr Membership Options 2009
If you are a visiting Cala dOr Marina this summer, Yacht Club Cala dOr now has short term memberships available, these are open to non boating visitors too.
The rates are as follows.
Individuals, Daily 20 euro, Weekly 100 euro, Monthly 250 euro.
Family, 2adults + 2 children, Daily 50 euro, Weekly 250 euro, Monthly 600 euro.

May Bank Holiday Weather In Cala dOr Mallorca,
Is looking good ! for everyone venturing out to Cala dOr Mallorca for the early May Bank Holiday the weather is looking great, having just checked around 6 weather forecast sites all but one gives a very good outlook, and the other was just a little worse.
It gives temperatures around 19 or 20c, but as usual visitors know, it will often be much warmer, and the sun strength is now getting much greater, perfect for those tans ! The wind strength is also looking good, so I am sure many of the boat owners will be out in force.
I wonder how many of the usual faces will be there, you know who you are !
Anyone fancy going off somewhere over the weekend ?

easyJet has announced (24-Mar-09) that it is increasing its flight frequency to the sunshine hotspot destination of Palma De Mallorca from Glasgow Airport.
The additional flights will operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 05-May to 23-Jun. The extra flights will also make it easier for travellers who are to visiting the Island of Mallorca for the May Bank Holiday weekend.
