Yacht Club Cala dOr

Cala dOr is home to one of the most exclusive and stunning venues in the Mediterranean, the Yacht Club Cala dOr.

The Bistrot Restaurant and Piano Bar offers the perfect setting to relax and enjoy and delicious meal after a day at sea.

With a range a wide variety of dishes including salads, pastas, and succulent meat dishes on the menu, the Bistrot presents guests with a place to dine that adapts throughout the day, providing breakfasts and light snacks, children’s menus and delicious lunch and dinner dishes, whilst the bar offers everything from cappuccinos to a wide variety of delicious cocktails.

The recently opened CaLa Vista Tapas Bar & Lounge has an exciting new Tapas style menu, with the focus on true Mediterranean.

With comfortable “sofa” style seating and great service, you can enjoy the unrivalled views from the terrace, relax with a smooth and refreshing cocktail or sample a variety of tapas dishes and enjoy good times with family and friends alike.

The pool at the Yacht Club must be seen to be fully appreciated.

A sublime infinity pool in the most turquoise of blue, giving you the impression that if you carry on swimming you could end up in the Marina itself!

The pool terrace is the ideal place to appreciate the morning sunshine whilst enjoying breakfast, with family or meeting friends for lunch or a cool glass of champagne or sangria while you watch the boats come into the marina as the sun goes down.

Coupled with stunning gardens dotted with palm trees and exotic shrubs and the comfortable garden furniture – the Yacht Club pool and children's pools are the perfect place to relax and top up your tan.

Events

As one of the finest venues in the Mediterranean, YCCD have hosted some of the finest events.

Throughout the year YCCD offers its members and guests an unrivalled calendar of events, ranging from live music events and wine tastings to sumptuous parties and BBQ´s, kids activities and table tennis competitions to cake baking demonstrations.

Yacht Club Cala d’Or is an affordable venue and can adapt to suit your needs. Whether it be for weddings, parties, exhibitions or business functions.

As the number one wedding venue in the Mediterranean, the Yacht Club provides the highest quality, fantastic service and affordable, cost effective solutions in an unbeatable photographic location.

You can choose to get married in one of the many picturesque local churches, striking mountain top monasteries or in the gardens of the Yacht Club itself.

With the exquisite food served on the splendid pool and garden terraces, on the rooftop patios or inside the event rooms – the choice is yours. Capacities are up to 200 persons seated, and a further 200 on the wonderful terraces, or alternatively a more intimate number in the CaLa Vista Suite and set immediately alongside the stunning marina of Cala d´Or.

The Children Zone

The Club's Games Room is one of the best places to keep the children (and those who are still children at heart!) entertained.

With four American Pool tables, an Air Hockey table, several Table Football tables, a Nintendo Wii, a table tennis table and 3 internet ready PC's so you can spend as long as you like checking your emails in between doing battle on Wii Golf.

A smaller persons room is also available for the younger children with a host of imagination toys, board games, Playstation 2 consoles, comfy kids furniture and lots more.

Gym

Yacht Club Cala d'Or boasts one of the most impressive and high tech gyms available.

Every endurance machine imaginable is available to you, along with a complete set of free weights, strength machines to test every muscle and mats for you to collapse on after a good work out. Personal training sessions are also available for a charge.

Library

The Yacht Club has an on site Library where you can borrow a book from should you need something to read whilst you are relaxing either on the beach or whilst enjoying the sunshine moored in one of the fantastic local Cala's.

There are also extensive Maps and Charts which can be used to plan your next trip around the Island or to further afield.

It is also equipped with a fast Wi-Fi connection, 2 stationary PC's (Internet ready) and a telephone should you need to check in on how business is going back home or to complete an important deal that simply cannot wait.

The Library is open to Members only.

Cooking Holidays

A new concept just launched by the Yacht Club is the much awaited Cooking Holidays, hosted by the General Manager, Sergio Rifugio.

Sergio has an impressive resume, including his own Cooking Holidays Spain company and almost 20 years experience in the catering industry.

The luxury gourmet break will be including various day trips and excursions and above all it promises to be a fun learning experience for all ages.
